Adamantite Ore?

I've just got this item, and not sure. It is "treasure" type item, so I can sell it, but it costs almost nothing. This makes me think this item must have something to it. Am I right? Or it is indeed just extremely cheap treasure item?

As far as I'm aware it has no use other than to sell.

All "gemstone" type items have one purpose, and it is to be sold for gold.

Well, it is weird, why treasure that late in the game is pretty much cheapest one?

Maybe they gave it the wrong value. Seems like it should be 80 G instead of just 8 G.

But it’ll still be less valuable than the previous precious items you got. I was thinking it’s only low in this world, but more valuable on the other. But alas, it wasn’t the case.

There’s also the alumni token, that one is only 1g

Man that's lame. Considering the fact that you have to at least buy all the spa stats again in NG+, they could at least make recollecting the conches more worthwhile.
