Trying to get the last conch

So I spent majority of today looking for a missing conch despite following a guide, I was pretty confused how I missed one. So I decided to follow a youtube video guide, and go for each and every place it showed all over again, yet I have seemingly gotten them all

Yet it says I only have 59?
I made sure and I checked so many places over and over again, even ran to the very apparent open boxes to try and open them again just to be sure, yet I can't get the last one for some reason.

Is the fishing one in Brisk missable? I am 99.9% sure I gave all the fish to the kid in the boat as I distinctly remember doing it but I can't confirm by talking to them again, that I'm aware of.

Have you tried asking the parrot for a clue of where the missing one might be?

Actually I think I realized why I couldn't find the last one, the video guide apparently missed one in the Abandoned Wizard Lab

Yup, confirmed that a couple guides literally skipped the light puzzle in The Abandoned Wizards Lab with just the red crystal only. I skipped this entirely somehow and thankfully I found it.

I have been having the same issue. I have found 58 conch shells, having gone through a complete guide and still haven't found them all. There was a possible glitch where i was supposed to get a rainbow conch from an area, and when I opened the chest, that was not what I received. It was really bizarre. An error on the game's part?

Weird, have you tried the parrot relic to see if it can locate any missing conches & treasures on the map?

I have but it doesn't tell me if there is a conch. Just that there is missing treasure in a couple of areas. There is the last island all the way in the south that says I need to progress more. But I have done everything else except for the final area of the game.

sometimes the parrot will tell you that there's a treasure repeatedly, and it's pure chance if it says a conch is still available, even if there is one. it does eventually specify that it's a conch if there is one though if tried often enough

there was/is a conch on that last island, on the right of the pond, but it's available before you can progress there. maybe you've already picked that one up
