You got to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kidding me (SPOILERS)

So I get to Repine and learn that I need to go back to the Watchmaker to get a Wheels table if I want to play there and for completion's sake I do. The game has taken Garl away from me shortly before so my cash cow is gone and I am short on money. I do not know beforehand that I have to dish out 250 G to get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ table.

I walk all the way from the other planet back to the top of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clock tower only to be told that I can't get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ table because I don't have enough money and to add insult to injury the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ merchant is gone from the place so I can't just sell off some stuff to get some cash quickly to buy the table, no I have to walk all the way back out of the castle, leave the island and then get to some merchant to be able to get the money, then go all the way back.

The game is really good in large parts but this right there is some absolute ♥♥♥♥ tier design, holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥, for ♥♥♥♥'s sake.

That all should take less than ten minutes. Even so it would be nice if this game had some kind of spell or item that let you exit a dungeon immediately.

Yeah, a leave dungeon at will feature would be good. For that matter, why not just give the player the ability to quick travel between visited save points or something like that? There's absolutely no reason not to have such a feature in a game nowadays.

Go back to Autumn Hills, pick up every maple syrup node you find, sell that, easy cash.
Mirth is another good place to farm sellables thanks to the Fishing shack/pond, and the orchard planted during Garl's finale.

At this point in the game, money is stupid easy to earn, and (small spoiler), you're basically at the last vendors, anyway. There's one more past Repine, and you're Very close to unlocking flight, so you can honestly skip the minor upgrades there in favor of the best gear in the game found cleaning up all the places you couldn't get before.
