...getting to and from Lake Docarria? Seeing as that is where you turn in your Rainbow Conches, naturally you'd be going there more frequently than other places but apparently you have to go through Jungle Path EVERY FRICKING TIME you want to return there. Either that's a massive oversight or I'm missing some kind of shortcut?

Massive oversight unfortunately.
You will get a faster method of travel later on. But that will be very late in the game.

I realize you probably get a flying ship at some point, which I don't have yet but I've been to that place for the first time quite some time ago now and in all this time there hasn't been a better way yet.

I mean, they have similar shortcuts, like the one between X'Tol and the Stonemasons' Outpost, or the one near the Castle on Mesa Island. It's not like they don't generally know how to put these shortcuts in the game, it's just that in this case there simply isn't one, even though this is a place that you have a clear interest in visiting frequently.

Oh well, gotta endure until I finally get wings I guess.
