What A Technique! - More like, what ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥?
....I love this game, I have basically 100% this game, and I go to check whatever achievements I have left - and I have to kill 10 bosses with the Artful Gambit relic on? The relic I get near the END of the game? So this means I have to do new game plus or somehow I'm just screwed....?
This....this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ achievement. What the literal ♥♥♥♥. I see 0.1% of all players have this achievement. Any way to do this WITHOUT NG+? Like is there a boss rush or something I've not unlocked, or have missed???

That was the intention, yes.

There's exactly enough bosses in NG to get it in your first playthrough if you sequence break after the Triumverate of Eminence though.

So they admit it's missable in that is required NG+, they admit they had a no missable rule, then they included something that cannot be obtained in only one playthrough making the trophy technically missable unless the player engages in NG+.
This is a literal cardinal sin of gaming, and I am so disappointed they went that route.
EDIT: The irony of "I have to start over?", when literally to get the trophy, you have to start over.

Anyway, thanks for that link. I love this game, have uninstalled, and totally done with it. I'll never get that trophy, because it's a cheap shot. Forcing NG+ isn't fun, it's work, and for all the other trophy's this game gives you, this final one is just a punch in the nuts.

Still recommend the game, but it's way too boring for another playthrough just for one trophy.

The counter doesn't reset between runs. You could have killed 9 or 8 bosses at the end, then just 1 or 2 for NG+ in a tiny amount of time.

No player is going to know this without trying it, and I wasn't aware of its existence as a trophy until I got the true ending and knew I had done EVERYTHING I possibly could, then looked to see which trophy I missed, so I could go get it.
This is, quite literally, missable. Starting NG+ just to kill 10 bosses with this relic equipped does not make it non-missable. Hence, my disappointment with the devs.
I can only hope my misfortune brings awareness so others catch this before they make the same mistake. I'll always be at 99% for this game because of this cheap shot missable achievement.
Oh well. I look forward to their next game. This leaves a sour taste in my mouth but it wont stop me from supporting the studio.

It took me like 3-4 hours to get the achievement on NG+ and I was looking at my other monitor 95% of the time. Throw a show or a movie on, don't even need to pay attention to the game. If you wanna stay at 99% you're definitely doing that to yourself, the game isn't doing it to you

I just got my platinum after killing the Cromatic Abomination(?) on my New Game+

I doesnt took that long and you will not die if you try it.

And dont complain because it is way more easier to do this on NG+ than immediatly after u get the relic (my case).

You completely stomp every single enemy and boss in NG+ with your overpowered skills, gear and levels so it's really not hard to keep playing for a few more hours of NG+ if you really want this achievement.

Someone else on GameFAQs sequence broke for Artful Gambit on NG and was able to get it. I sequence broke for it on Switch NG+ and killed the Gun Goddess, got to after the Dweller of Dread and talked to Serai for it just fine. It lead to her post-defeat dialogue after obtaining it.
It's if you failed to talk to her at all before doing any of the post-game that counts is as missable, but it did thankfully get patched. Corroborates your experience and what a JP bro said too, since that new dialogue seemingly overwrites her prior dialogue.

Problem is what 'set up camp' function don't need in gameplay at all, but at least two side quests ask for this: Golden Pelican and this artifact. From this two only Golden Pelican can't be completed without camp.

I, personally, see on guides how to start GP quest, because all other content can be completed without camp function. Yes, even dimensional rabirinth.

In my cese: I found oasis by myself before hooded man even spawn (before accuired flying). Also parrot can spoil you locations even you don't know about it existance - this bird told me about Queen and when I already known about secret passages - I start searching. Ofcource I kill her before try to talk with Serai. People can communicate with each other by different way: by talking, by writing, by shown videos... I'm not sure why it was hard coded to fail if you break sequence and kill her. But, yes - thankfully it's patched.
