Garl and his healing spell

hi, i have a question...when you give garl by an lvl up more magic dmg, its inprove also his healing spell?

i mean if you do the timed hit for it he should full heal with it even at base stats. the sandwich heal is fat

I hate the timing on that, only did it once my whole playthrough, and only learned about it from the trivia master hilariously, I was actually timing with the apple hitting. Not a lot of the timed abilities are easy to tell.
