all you need to know that it is heavily political used, that alone is already a bad thing on its own.
i am surprised that anyone would use the word on sea of stars.
No. "Woke" is similar to "Red Pilled" in that it is describing a person who according to that ideology has understood the true nature of reality that they didn't recognize before. From the "Woke" perspective, almost all identities are socially constructed, compared to being biologically inherent. The classic nurture vs. nature argument. Not only are our identities socially constructed, they are done so purposefully by those who are in the dominant social class to keep us down and divide us into consumer groups for capitalistic purposes. In order to fight this, we have to promote diversity in representation in media and real life occupations to break the social conditioning and overthrow the dominant class. This is why in "woke" media there is a focus on diverse representation and heterodox cultural narratives.
It is a specific philosophy and clearly identifiable in media whos creators are adherents to this ideology. That's totally fine, but some people like it and some people don't. People that like it can buy woke games, and people that don't can buy a different game.
