Reconnecting the controllers

Occasionally, when playing, I get a controller disconnect (not a game bug), or if we're playing a game, take a break and want to come back. Would it be possible to add reconnecting the controllers as an option when pausing the game?

They should reconnect automatically to the same player when you plug them back in.
Was that not working?

I guess it might not if you are not in game anymore, I'll have a look at adding an option!

Could you Please tell me why my Xbox one controller is not recognized by game? Other x360 are working fine but my new one is not working just in this game. :(
Do you know how to fix this?

Hi,

Could you try disabling XInput in the in game menu? That might fix issues.

It's definitely the issue if you have more than 4 Microsoft controllers connected, XInput does not support that.

Hi,
I tried to open the game with only the xbox one pad connected via bt.
Unfortunately it doesn't work well and after reconnecting it still doesn't work.
Have no idea how to fix this issue.

Old thread, but if 5+ microsoft controllers is unstable, what is the recommended way to play with 5-8 players? Experiencing this disconnecting issue most games. Currently I just restart the game, but its not optimal :)
