*Major Spoilers* VIP Guest Theory
So played through the game several times already and I am convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that the VIP on floor 6 is Mr. Beaumont and that he is also the killer.

Several things that make be believe this the end scenea Mrs. Beaumont always looks behind her at a shadowy figure as if she is being stalked, the letter in her bathroom reads " I know where you sleep at night" (I think that is literal he knows where she currently is), the kid even though he doesn't tell his father where he is he fills in that damn cereal box with the hotel address and if his mother is arrested the end scene shows him with his father and his very large dog ( the steak eater).

Then the stuff with Paul the VIP asked to see him in that letter we see at the reception, why? Has he paid him to investigate his wife? The noises Paul hears at night is that Mr. Beaumont using the blocked off stairs?

My theory is that Mr. Beaumont believes that his wife is having an affair with victim ( due to stereotypes he doesn't assume his wife), we know he is violent so he kills the victim. However, I tried everything I could think of but Sophie isn't putting the clues together I am missing something and can't figure out what. There has to be a true ending where the VIP is arrested and everyone else is free what's more I am certain I can set it up at the end to appear as if the victim and Mrs. Beaumont were having an affair for the police but they simply don't acknowledge anything even if I leave her cigarette case , even if I leave Paul's camera that I am sure has captured Mr. Beaumont..

Actually just writing this makes me think I should leave the film he drops out for the police to find.., hmm I will try that in the mean time, what do you think am I barking up the wrong tree? Any suggestions ?

I read some people say that the game as several endings but seen nothing of it so far either. No guides, no videos on youtube, no one detailing other endings... So yeah, seems like the game has only 1 ending imo.

The game does have several endings. Someone made a guide here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3068511421

The VIP in the 6th floor is Hitchcock. There are many references and the obvious one is his terriers. If Paul goes free you get the "Hollywood" ending, meaning that he met Hitchcock (this is mentioned in a letter by Bernard) and became an actor, just like he dreamt off (this desire is mentioned in his documents).

The game indicates a strong candidate for the murder if you discover everything.

Yeah, it's a meta reference to his thriller films. The game itself kinda plays out like one of his films.
