507 & 509 help

im looking for the second key for room 507, q - mentions room 505 and a safe. but the safe in 505 doesnt have a key. and the safe for 509 i cant check because i am missing the combination. and i cant leave. what should i do? cant open fusebox in the janitors closet either.

Try looking for a reference to the key and not the key itself
(I don't want to give a straight answer just in case you still wanna search for it yourself but lmk if you want it)

Thanks. I have tried looking for the reference, but my adhd brain isnt catching on. maybe message me the answer?

Inside the safe in room 505, take a look at the journal again and click on the necklace around the lady's neck. It will prompt Sophie to call either Beth or Andrew about what she has discovered, and allow you to proceed with another way to get a key.

I tried the above from Linda and it didn't work for me, not sure if I am missing something else. Any help would be great, seems like I can't do anything until I figure out the key.

Did you use the Clue Selection Mode to zoom in and click on the necklace in the picture?

I opened the safe but now shes saying she should put stuff down. But what is she talking about? How do we see our inventory? Where do we put or drop it?

probably dirty towels and/or cups, you drop them at the tray in the hallway
