Error e005-4 doesnt allow me or my 2 friends to join any game

Game was working fine yesterday, we finished OC1, and halfway through OC2 after a good night sleep we found out that we couldnt join any session due to this error.
I googled on reddit and I've seen ppl complaining about it for a month with no solution.
Is there any solution to this or is it just "wait for an update"?

So we can ensure you have the best connection, can you please follow the steps in the links below, and reach out to your ISP to open your NAT.

Troubleshooting Network Connectivity
Clear download cache
Flush your DNS Cache[www.whatsmydns.net]

Can you please ensure your NAT (Network Address Translation) is set to Open or Moderate? You will need to contact your ISP or router manufacturer for information on how to perform these steps.

If you are still experiencing connection issues after performing the steps in the links above and opening your NAT. Can you please tell us the following information?

1. What country are you currently living in?
   
2. Steam Download Region (Steam Settings, Downloads)
   
3. What is your internet speed? Internet Speed Test[www.speedtest.net]
   
4. Are you using a VPN?
   
5. What is your NAT set to?

I'm having the same problem. I get error E005-4 whenever I try to invite a PS5 friend. Also when she invites me, I receive the invite but when I take it and try to join I get the same error E005-4. I exclusively bought this to cross play, please help.

Hi, I´m having the same problem, I just got downloaded this game today in my pc and I´m not able to play with my ps5 friend, I restarted the game and the pc but it still not working, we are both from Chile and it´s the same error: E005-4.

I got the same problem. I want to know if it is already solved or is just me.

My girlfriend and I experience the same error. Two days ago everything was fine, but now neither she or me can even create a session.

The update today didn't change anything either, still not able to create a session at all, not that we were ever told what the update was even for.

You'd think Team17 would be more on the ball about giving everyone general updates about what they're doing to try and solve such a critical issue, but it all makes sense in the long run since this game is just a blatant cash grab so far with no real sustenance besides online co-op (which is the issue here) for the Overcooked content.

I guess we just have to keep waiting in the dark until it magically works again next update without any advanced notification.

It’s not letting me play as well I’m getting the same error code for the past few days :( I only bought this game specifically for co-op it’s been out for 5 months you would think this issue would be fixed since it’s the entire point for the game

Bought the game for two of my friends that are on xbox. They can play together but I cant (I am on PC). So sad spending my money just to not be able to play.
