Me and a few friends on the Switch version are having this issue as well.
Sorry to hear you're having this issue.
Are you both on different consoles or the same one together?

Thanks for that - do you happen to know what exact error message is received when they/you get kicked?

Did you test changing the host around? If so, does the host always makes it to the lobby, regardless if they are playing from a Switch or PC? How big is your party and how many are playing with a Switch and how many on a PC?
Basically, we are trying to determine what may be the root cause of this issue so that our developers can test it further.

The host as well as the party members all go to their own individual lobbies.
We've tried with all party sizes; 2, 3 and 4 players. I'm on PC, the three other players are on Switch.
Thanks for your reply.
As soon as you match with another player outside of your party, all Chefs should display and you can load in with all players, whether they show in the searching section or not. Please do try this.
The best option, however, would be to play in private arcade lobbies and invite people or you could all search for co-op or versus gams online separately at the same time and hope that someone outside of your group is also searching for this.
We hope this helps.
