Co-op on Steam Deck and Remote play TV !
I bought the Steam Deck docking station so I can play in the living room with my girlfriend.
I have seen that new levels have recently been added for Overcooked All You Can Eat so I decide to download to my Steam Deck so I can play on the TV via the dock.
Unfortunately I discover that there are proplemi in detecting the second controller so I decide to start my desktop PC and play via streaming and I discover that it is not possible because the developers have blocked this function !!!

it's shameful that such a game has such serious problems with multiplayer!

yeah this is really unbelievable for this kind of game, especially considering it's a known issue since launch. you can bind your second controller to keyboard keys to work around this by the way, but it's really shameful of the dev and publisher to not address this basic and core to the game functionality, and really makes me feel like I got suckered into paying for a cash grab rather than the long term support and enhanced functionality package for two games I already own and love that I thought it was supposed to be. really, shame!

Guys just FIX the Problem!!!!

I've reported this to them when I bought the game, their answer was essentially "Linux is not supported", so don't hold your breath, just give this game a bad review explaining why, otherwise they won't care about bug reports or comments here.

Such a shame, I loved Overcooked and Overcooked 2, but it's almost impossible to play without analog input when you map a keyboard to a controller

FYI this seems to be resolved in proton 7.0.6 (still in beta right now) or proton experimental.

Almost bought. Thanks for the info. Will wait for issue to be resolved.

I can confirm that the problem is solved by selecting "Proton Experimental"!:dealwithit:

Yes, it works almost perfectly in FullHD at 60fps.
There are a couple of levels in Ovecooked 2 where the framerate drops all the way to 40fps, but nothing serious.
