We still have this discount running on the Team17 website, you just need to use code AYCE15 at checkout: https://store.team17.com/product/overcooked_all_you_can_eat
I own them all as well but barely touched them. AYCE would have been a good opportunity to jump back in, but rebuying 90%+ of the same content with slightly enhanced graphics all over again is just ludicrous. For those who own all the content, the upgrade is barely worth more than $10 for slightly bumped graphics and online multiplayer that should have been integrated from the start to begin with.
What happened is Team 17 wanted their cake and to eat it too. They wanted all the rewards of an Overcooked 3 without any of the time or money investment. They realized they could instead just rehash all the work they've already done over the years and price it like an OC3. If AYCE was that expensive for them to make like they claim, they should have canceled the project and put it towards an Overcooked 3.
15% loyalty discount ONLY makes sense if it was an Overcooked 3 with NO REUSED ASSETS. For what it is, the loyalty discount should be 70-75% off. They would probably make even more money because it would be a no-brainer upgrade for those who already own the previous.
It seems you put work into it and added a few things, but this is not a new game. If we want OC1 with online multiplayer we are forced to buy this... even thought we already own 75% of the content this was made from.
