Is all you can eat dlc playable with friends who own overcooked 2?

So I have seen that if the host owns dlc content that other friends who own overcooked 2 can play with them without owning the content themselves. Does this only work if you buy the dlc individually? Or if you buy the dlc in the all you can eat bundle are you still able to play older dlc content with friends who only own overcooked 2?

Overcooked 2 and Overcooked AYCE do not have crossplay with each other, so people with those games cannot play with each other. In order to play Overcooked AYCE DLC together, everyone needs to own Overcooked AYCE.
