I have the same issue. We had no problems getting the 4 stars on 1-1, 1-2 etc. but it is absolutely impossible for the tutorial of overcooked 2 in all you can eat.
When being 3 players, 800 is asked for the 4th star.
When being 2 players (we tried that too), 600 is asked
And, as you said, in all you can eat the timer starts right away, which was not the case in the game "overcooked 2" for the same level. This is the one thing that makes it impossible.
I highly suspect a bug or a miscalculation of the difficulty.
Has someone ever managed to suceed the tutorial of overcooked 2 in AYCE with 4 stars ? Because I searched everywhere on the internet, and I really think the answer is no.
This could be easily fixed with an update and allow the most faithful players to reach 100% completion in AYCE :)
Without changing accessibility settings, the closest me and my two friends got to was about 700 points out of 900. I can't recall what circumstances led to that, but I think it was just sheer luck with more 1-2 ingredient salads and less 3 ingredient salads. We tried so many times and we still think it's impossible, except maybe if you get exceptionally lucky.
Good luck!
