Previously, owners of OC1 and OC2 got a 15% discount, then they suddenly do like 25% (and this time 40%) to slap previously buyers.
In short, if you are ok with management for loyalty people and marketing that think owners of OC1 and OC2 are ok with 15% sale then backlash them with 40% sale afterward, then it's up to you.
