Secret ending run breaks the game GLITCH REPORT
The conditions for unlocking the secret ending are thus:

1: Complete the game
2: Return to fragment screen and complete them in a distinct order a second time, unlocking the "secret fragment"

However, when I completed the game and attempted the fragments, the game crashed and erased my progress up to the beginning of the connecting fragments section thereby preventing me from obtaining the 52nd fragment (since the game completion check is not true). This is confusing, because all my save files remained INTACT, including the save file that leads to the Staff room, which can only be read after completing the game. Reloading the game and loading that save file and completing the Staff room leads to the extras menu, but with the Staff room no longer on the menu. If I enter the "Chapter select screen" at this point, I can only select the chapters up to "Connecting fragments", which is extremely odd, due to the chapter select screen only becoming available after completing the game, thus unlocking all available chapters. Returning to the main menu gives me the "dark" menu backdrop of an uncompleted game.

The only way for me to re-attempt the secret-ending run is to re-complete Chapter 9 and go through the credits. The bug is reproducible, as I reproduced it myself accidentally, when I retried the run.

I'm now going to attempt closing the game after completion (and saving), then opening the game again to see if the crash progress deletion bug remains.

Please fix this, a secret ending run takes about half an hour to complete and this bug prevents me from getting it, leading to much wasted time.

To clarify, the crash happened while selecting a fragment and holding ctrl.
Update: my proposed workaround... worked. Exiting the game after finishing prevents the crash.

It appears that the game only saves the system variables (those that are independent of saves) on exit, so it's vulnerable to losing them if it crashes, which it's prone to doing. I believe that whether you can access the secret fragment as well as the list of chapters you can access are all system variables. It is weird, though, that Scenario Jump needs to consult such a list when it's only available after you can access all of the chapters.

Ahh, that explains it. The latter is particularly odd, yeah. This latest release has been far from stable so far, hope they manage to fix it sooner or later.

I find this engine has often not been very stable. It used to have a bug (on Linux) where, when you open it up before there are saved settings, it would sometimes set the window size to some insane dimensions, and then you'd have to delete the settings file and try again. I haven't run into that with this arc. Maybe I was lucky, though.
