how to add my friend to play with him?

You have to add them as friends on steam. Than you can invite them via ingame

no clue, but it's best to just do it on steam

To do it on steam, click "Friends" on the top lest corner of the screen on steam, then click add a friend. Then, you can search up their name and send an invite. I hope I answered your qustion!
