Not sure if you know this but a mouse is much more efficient at speed and accuracy compared to a controller. Thus why Pro gamers will only use a mouse and keyboard to play.
I know, consoles and controllers are big with kids. But PC games are a different animal. Try it. I'm sure after a week, you'll love that I even recommended this to you.
Information is free to give. Only those who use that information for the greater good will be the ones to succeed. I know I can't make anyone do anything. But I hope you use my knowledge
They suck for the most part though.
Apart from you being unnecessarily rude about consoles and controlers, you're also spreading misinformation. There are A LOT of professional players that use controllers in all kinds of different shooters etc. It just comes down to your own personal preferences, so that doen't mean that your opinion is the truth.
The argument "Consoles are for kids" is so old, overused and not even true. Just look at the current states of Playstation and Xbox. They are often focussing more on adults than kids. Even Nintendo isn't "just for kids". "Kid-friendly" doesn't mean "made for kids".
TLDR: Nothing wrong with controller (I prefer it for a lot of my games), Granpah needs to go to bed
also I don't think controller support is coming anytime soon unfortunately
The current state of consoles and mainstream gaming is corporate greed for the whole family.
