This is a super late reply but I would honestly argue that Infinite's done more damage to the franchise than the show.

Like... don't get me wrong, the show's definitely bad, even considering the whole 'alternate universe' thing. But considering what they've been doing with the story alone, it's honestly just depressing thinking about the future of Halo.

Like, you know it's bad when people think Halo 5 is a better game than Infinite because it could still let you customize the colors of your Spartan and your emblem without having to deal with skins coatings... or being locked to specific color palettes in the case of emblems.........

Cool skins but you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ should fix the skill based matchmaking. Tried getting that spree medal and suffered the worst skill issue in my 20 year halo career where it took me TWENTY TWO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MATCHES TO GET. I matched with gods themselves. One of these mfs on swat got 19 kills in the first 1 minute 28 seconds of a match. Got the skin but tbh need a break from halo after this. I'm falling out of love with the franchise. whatever happened to "playing the way you want", or the "virtual couch" experience where it was laid back and not full of this trash. Store bought armor out the wazoo and a soul focus on competitive play only.

What does 343 have against BRs. They're lots of fun and extremely lacking as pickups in a lot of the maps. Then what is that starting weapon, the single fire one? It is an abomination, a punishment to play with. How about, players start with BRs? What does 343 have against fun?
