This is one small bit that is coming with Season 4. Infection will be the focal point of the entire season, and should be playable from June 20th onward. You can already play Infection in custom games (it is very fun)

This is kinda disappointing ngl. The ranks and symbols aren't even as varied or creative as Reach and the fact that it won't be retroactive just seems like a bait and switch from what was leaked. New maps looks great but I think 343 puts a lot of energy towards things that aren't necessary... does infection really need the infected players to have a unique armor effect and sword? It would be perfectly acceptable to make a "flood" shader and force apply it along with a much less intrusive flood spore cloud. New armor core looks like it could just be added to eaglestrike. The fact that they are apparently working on a battle royale show's how much they've lost the plot.
