What is Microsoft and 343 dong to this series?!?!?!? The Paramount+ show is crap, The series is crap. Whatever happened to Halo Cobat Evolved, 2, 3, ODST, and Reach? They were so incredible. I genuinely believe we will never get that kind of vibe again except form indie games. My Hope was in Infinite. I watched it closer than my kids. Alas, like life, it was just a dream. Unbelievable that anyone, the publisher or game company, would do something like this to such a beloved series. UNACCEPTABLE!

Once upon a time Halo games looked like they actually put a lot of effort into imagining potential future warfare and weapons technology, and that was really cool. It's been going on for a long while now but this "do everything we can possibly think of, copy historical designs, other games and anything kids like, and colour it like a nerf gun" strategy has totally destroyed the grounded immersion halo once had, and made a joke of the lore. I'm disappointed.

If I can't get enjoyment from the gameplay I'll get enjoyment from watching the devs play.

I understand why the change to Tactical Slayer (SWAT), being no longer battle rifle only was made. The expanded weapon types add variability, a core part of halo infinite's multiplayer. The added guns also appeal more to the majority of the player base (controller players) than the BR. That being said there is still an argument for reverting to only BR's. Tactical slayer is already a "leave heavy" game mode and when players don't even like the gun they'll have to use for the entire match they will just leave. Also, the BR does not have any downsides compared to the other weapons. The Sidekick suffers from noticeable inaccuracy even on its first shot and the Commando is also inaccurate, unlike the BR. The Mangler while somewhat satisfying to get headshots lacks the range to fight on the available map selection. Now for the Stalker Rifle, this gun is an upgrade to the BR in my opinion because instead of a burst you only have one shot instead of 3 making for a more precise match, and shooting only the body is still balanced, unlike the Mangler and others. The gun tracers also technically make camping less effective. That being said BR's should be the only gun for Tactical Slayer as it's the weapon more people are comfortable with, and all the other guns are inferior for a one-headshot game mode on reasonably sized maps.

Agreed. As as someone whos only ever really liked playing hardcore in cods and swat in halos, adding all these garbage weapon only game modes to swat is the dumbest thing they couldve done. I had to leave 10 matches one time just to try to play what i wanted to play. So i just hopped on cod instead. Now they ban as for doing it. Major ♥♥♥♥ move by the studios towards swat players. Why does it have to be only one gun in swat any way when every other game mode has weapon variety? Like what the ♥♥♥♥ is the reason, it's one headshot kill for all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapons anyway? If someone wants to use a garbage gun at any point in the match, let them. If someone wants to play only w the br since its the only enjoyable weapon in the mode, let them
