Account blocked
So many including me encountered the game not loging in after initial loading. I've played only 3 hours in single player mode and one day the problem occured. I though it's some server problem.
Later I checked again and found a discussion here suggesting deleting windows credential things. I did so and no my account is blocked now and to restore I need to enter my phone.

So not only it forces me to create the usless MS account to play single player compaign, but now they also want more of my personal data (phone number) for the chance to appeal it, because they failed to deliver a working product. And on top of it outcome is unknown, because I'm not even sure if I'll be able to solve it anyway and how much time it gonna take.

I regret money spent on this game and plan to refund it or at least attempt to do so, if no one know a way to solve the problem I have. It's funny how I would have less problems if I didn't pay for it.

Please share if there is a way to solve it without gifting even more data to MS.

upd: it seems the problem has nothing to do with the connection problem and my account is locked not blocked. Apparently MS practices the trick of letting you in to play and then lock you of the game until they get your number. In my opinion is sounds like extortion.

Microsoft seems to have decided on requiring the a phone number a few years back, so I'm actually kind of amazed that it's taken this long for you to encounter this soft account lock.

While I understand not wanting to share more info with Microsoft, in my experience it has only been used for 2FA and other security alerts, like someone trying to hack my account.
