It's entirely cosmetic. ie, Barbie dolls bro. Not pay 2 win.
Buying cosmetic in-game stuff is like buying spinnin' rims -- From inside yo car, you can't even see them ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spin.
You in here gettin mad over some make-believe digital barbie doll accessories? Sound like you got matted fur in ya crack bro lol
In fact, these bundles cost MORE than real clothes.
If they charged a lot for them, there'd be some more validity to complain about since the repercussion of me not buying them is that I'm now much less comfortable on a motocross track. But if it was just for looks? Nah bro.
If someone expects you to pay $60 for a pizza when you've been paying $15 your whole life, you aren't just going to accept that. so why do it here.
Really the problem is the huge gap between the fairly reasonable $10 for 5 seasons of cosmetics, and the inane price on everything else. Such exorbitant shop prices on everything other than the passes is suicidal on Microsoft's part, it basically guarantees that the large majority of players who do spend any money on the cosmetics will spend exactly and only $10 ever. Sure some will cave and buy a $20 armor set or $10 effect, but I doubt it's enough to make up for the lost business with the majority of player that might buy reasonably priced store items.
