As for Grifball, they just added Assault, and Grifball is traditionally an Assault variant, so they might add it in the future. It's also worth noting that as iconic as some people find Grifball, it didn't exist until H3 when Rooster Teeth made it during their Red vs Blue series, so in all honesty it's a much later addition to the series compared to SWAT/Tactical Slayer. Even though some people love it, it was eventually dropped from H5's multiplayer options because it had a low population, and it was dropped from the MCC's Reach because people were using it to grind XP for unlocks. That said, Assault exists now, so someone will probably make it in the Forge pretty quickly.
As it is, half of your original post is unneeded because you simply didn't look at the Match Composer, and the other half looks like it might be resolved soon anyway.
Again, I am not trying to be mean, but it's really hard to take you seriously when you can't even spell the name of one of the "two best game modes" and that you somehow missed the fact that the other one of the "two best game modes" was renamed over 3 years ago and was never removed from the game. Like, dude, you're really not doing a good job of arguing your point.
It also doesn't help that you keep thinking that Grifball, which was introduced in H3, is an "OG" game mode. Yeah, it's been around for a while, but if you're going to start complaining about how the later games aren't true Halo games then you also have to acknowledge that various modes and maps that were added in H3 (such as Sandtrap, for example) are not the definitive experience for everyone else. I'm sorry bro, but your love of H3 doesn't mean that everyone else completely agrees with you.
Edit: Again, it's worth mentioning that yes, "Swat" is still in the game, it's just called Tactical Slayer, and that with Assault being an official game mode then Grifball, being a variant of Assault, will probably shortly be developed by someone in the community via Forge.
You made a response, to which I offered a factual observation that not everyone likes the same things you do, but that at least it looks like you'll get your wish soon anyway. Then you went off on how facts about past decisions and a past game shouldn't be relevant to your desire to play what you want to play. In return, I pointed out once again that your personal preferences are not shared by everyone else, added some past criticisms of the modes you love to demonstrate that it isn't universally beloved, and that it was rude to assume that everyone likes the game modes you like.
Ironically, in your most recent response, you echoed that exact same point: people should be allowed to enjoy what they enjoy. I couldn't agree more, and wish that you would realize that people are allowed to express opinions that are contrary to your beliefs. I only answered your rant of a post so that you would A) know that you can still play one of your favorite modes and B) know that your other favorite mode is likely on its way. Somehow you keep twisting my responses into mortal insults and endorsements of things you dislike. I genuinely wish you the best of luck going forward, and that the next time you decide to go off about something that you pause a moment and really think about what you're actually responding to.
