newer games aren't designed for modding.
it's bad enough trying to unpack modern UE games because then you have a bunch of assets you can't modify easily.
many are encrypted and need an AES key. plus they use the new .utoc .ucas files which make it hard to unpack.
there's only like a couple tools out there that can edit asset files but they very basic editors with zero documentation and most files can't be fiddled with.
sure UE4+ games look pretty, but they all suffer from stuttering on pc and are not mod friendly.
unless we get mod tools with UE halo games it's going to be a pain.
