3. trend chasers (hey look live service games look worth looking into..)
they get a massive IP and slowly it gets worse. only took them four fps games to figure out they need to do better. (hcea, 4, 5 and infinite) which was the nail in the coffin.
i don't count halo wars 1, 2 or those mobile games.
halo 5 was supposed to get a sequel but for some reason they scrapped it and went all in on the live service crap.
and i thought ubisoft were dumb...(i still do)
this is why i rarely buy big name games anymore.
they are either broken on release or turn out to be live service or both and that just sucks.
Imagine the gap between the upcoming(?) Unreal 5 Halo and whatever comes afterwards the decade after if not even longer still.
Even halo 4 and Spartan Ops get love.
Microsoft is truly too big to care. Hell, from Windows 11, they may have lost the script.
