Is there still a way to play stockpile mode or is it removed from the game?

I can't seem to get matched into a stockpile match and I don't see it in the Big Team Battle playlist.

I'd like to get this achievement:
"Straight to the Bank
Deposit 5 Power Seeds in a matchmade Stockpile game."

i just read that it is removed but should be back in other updates in the future so fingers crossed

It's not a normal mode that everyone wants to play on a constant basis. It's more than likely going to be held specifically for entire 'celebrations'/featured game mode, it'll coincide with the new 20 level thing, if they were to dedicate servers for it, no one would play it. Or at least not often enough to justify it.

The top right, I forget what they call it, battlepass? where you earn items and the spartan currency. They will probably wait until one of those, or it'll be the 50 levels one.
