a fact. Here are some examples just to name a few:
1. No map rotation in custom game like previous halo games.
2. Forge sucks for PC user's. Grabbing objects sucks. Halo MCC Forge is 1000% better than Halo Infinite forge.
3. Team colors Flags are not correct. The red team should have a red flag. Blue team should have a Blue Flag.
there are alot more.
2. forge requires internet
3. campaign dlc cancelled
4. numerous unfixed bugs, gliitches
5. free2play mp just so they could sell garbage skins
those are my top grrrrrs
You can look at the playerbase , its a good reflection of the quality of the game
Halo infinite is the Best Mid AAA game ever made
No coop
no forge
no multiplayer
no theater
no file share
no split-screen
what was on time though was all the special month people skins
The list goes on and it's the reason why halo fell off.
For me multiplayer is where most of the problem lies, it's almost nothing but a race to who gets the noobtubes first. There should be more game modes strictly without noobtubing, it should be easier to fight some vehicles, etc..
And besides some crashes during multiplayer, my experience with the game in terms of stability was good. One thing I would like to point out, though, is that for a game that was going to focus on being a competitive FPS, the hardware requirements were very steep. Other games like Valorant and CSGO you would have 200 fps in a entry level machine, in this one you would be lucky to have 40fps, even now I play at 120fps with some dips, which is half my monitor's refresh rate.
1) 343i has no clue about Halo
2) 343i monetizes the IP (Halo TV Show, Fornite skins, Reach Battle Pass)
3) 343i adds fanservice into the lore (Reviving Noble 6)
4) 343i ruined the Halo lore the moment they made Halo 4 and beyond
5) 343i further ruined the Halo lore with the Halo TV Show
6) 343i pushed real life political agendas that nobody wanted
7) 343i lied to their fanbase (Adding splitscreen co-op)
8) 343i hates Halo and its fanbase
From your comment you seem young. Like really young, maybe 19 years? Most of us OG Halo fans are in our late 20's and others way beyond that age group. We do not mind microtransactions. Heck, I spend atleast $50 on microtransactions in other games per month. Why? Because those other games are better. Halo Infinite is not. Halo Infinite is made by a company, no a corrupt corporation that hates what they're being paid to do.
So the question is, why do you enjoy defending these developers that hate you and the game?
Heresy! The Prophets say in all their divine wisdom that 343i is actually doing the righteous thing by maintaining the Halo franchise under their supreme authority, and anyone who dares question their divine decisions are just willfully blind unbelievers who probably side with that green menace that is the Demon.
When they light the sacred rings franchise, we will all surely ascend into godhood!
I am pretty young, Halo 4 was my first and my favorite Halo. In answer to your question at the end: it is because I am really soft irl and I don't feel right bashing people because their game doesn't live up to other games' standards.
I guessed as much that Halo 4 is your first Halo. 343i's goal was to completely erase Bungie's Halo from the minds of young gamers that were coming from Fortnite and Call of Duty. Fortunately they failed in doing so.
We OG Halo fans aren't bashing anyone. We're not the ones to blame for Halo Infinite's downfall. Many of us gave 343i a chance, especially during the release of Halo 4 on the Xbox 360 in 2012. To give a short overview, the story did not live up to our expectations and the expectations within the Halo lore. It is a completely different Halo.
Bungie's Halo focused on comradery, sacrifice, courage and heroism. 343i's Halo is overdramatic and celebrates the chaotic nature of first person shooter games. To elaborate, Bungie's Halo had a background aside from all the green space man shooting stuff.
In Combat Evolved, Chief was stranded on Installation 04 and rallies Marines.
In Halo 2, Chief single handedly (aside from bombers) blew up a Covenant battlecruiser.
In Halo 3, Chief finishes the fight alongside the Sangheili.
In Halo 4, "Don't make a girl a promise, when you know you can't keep it" simulator, Lasky gets yelled at for no reason, Palmer does a cringe dialogue "Thought you'd be taller" at humanity's savior.
Those are the few examples I can give in comparison to 343i's Halo. I can type lots but why not watch some of The Act Man's videos? His Halo videos basically speaks for us OG Halo fans. He's not very aggressive when he's comparing between Bungie and 343i's Halo.
One thing I wanna make clear though. 343i has never cared about the Halo franchise. Their goal is not updating or giving content, their goal is to sell content. An exmaple would be the Yoroi Armor costed money but 343i made it free at the last minute. And then of course, the Halo TV Show which is a completely disgrace to us Halo fans.
I liked the campaign and feel it could have been expanded with new biomes and introduction/reintroduction of odst and spartan elements. Maybe a contingent of the covenant show up, maybe the flood show up behind them, maybe forerunners begin to move, maybe the "endless" are the superflood?
Lots of potential, wasted.
Example: Forge sucks, no way to rotate maps, can't carry flag in any vehicle like we could in pass Halo games.
