how do you know who is talking and who is not? and is the push to talk feature not working?

my push to talk control is set to mouse5 (the upper left button of a gaming mouse), i press it and nothing happens, i ask if someone can hear me nobody replies and the game doesnt show any added component to the hud or anything that shows i am talking.

By default talk is disabled; I am sure it originally was enabled by default. People tend to not turn this on, and maybe do not even know it is available.

Settings > audio then scroll down to communication
