Press Enter To Play Screen (Game Unplayable SOLUTION)
Halo Infinite is currently unplayable for multiple people including myself. You cannot get past the first screen even after updating latest graphics drivers, verifying file integrity, restarting my pc, and now I'm currently completely re-installing the game.

Please fix the game.

Update: re-installing the game does not fix it

UPDATED SOLUTION WORKING FOR HALO INFINITE TO LAUNCH:

Remove Halo Infinite sign in credentials
In the Windows Search bar, enter "Credential Manager", and select Credential Manager to open it.
Select Windows Credentials.
Scroll down to the section labeled Generic Credentials.
For every item that has "Xbl|2043073184" in the title:
Click on the item to expand it
Select Remove
Confirm you wish to delete that item
Launch Halo Infinite and check to see if the sign-in process has started from the beginning.
Note: This may sign you out of most or all Xbox network sign-ins on your PC.

The comment I put is the solution as well.

Yes, but as I said, that's only 1 of the 2 fixes in the link I posted. For some people, the 2nd fix works, for others it's the 1st fix. Sharing both - especially since they both cause the same problem - means that more people will be likely to find the fix that works for them.

Removing the credentials worked for me - now need to test the game. it seemed to have a problem with correctly authenticating the log in details. once the credentials had been removed it allowed me to login normally
You'll fix the problem, to discover there's another problem that's not really going to be fixed.
