How do I learn Halo Infinite?

Title; I've made a few attempts to get into this, but every time, I get obliterated by players with infinite power weapons, invincible vehicles, and perfect map knowledge. Is Halo Infinite just a really deep game that there's a trick to get good at, or have I gotten really unlucky to constantly find myself spawncamped?

The question is not why do I suck, but rather, why are the MLGPros never on MY team? Every match I've played has been a one-sided blowout. I've attempted to adopt tactics like sticking with teammates and watching my minimap, but it doesn't help; the enemy just kills my teammate, then me. Is there a mode that's more beginner-friendly?

I played through the tutorial, including the hidden sniper rifle achievement, but I'm still constantly finding myself in lopsided matches.

Is control over power weapons the key to having the upper hand? I've tried going for them, but there's always some yahoo waiting to ambush me, then take the weapon off my corpse. I have a very defensive playstyle (i.e. I'm a filthy camper), does that not work in Halo?

What modes do you tend to play? Always keep an eye out for vehicles if they are on the map. Plasma nades, skewer, sniper, hydra and dynamos are all effective against them. Pick up different weapons and learn how to use them. The more tools you master the more likely something nearby will give you an edge. And try to keep one piece of equipment with you as often as possible, no matter which it is

I've tried both BTB and whatever the 4v4 mode is, with no luck. If the best way to succeed is to constantly change playstyles based on what weapons and items are available, this is probably a game I can't get good at, since I no longer have the mental agility to rapidly change tactics. I tend to exploit camping, "support" weapons, and practical, pre-optimized gameplans to succeed.

well look at the game modes lists and make sure you un-check anything that doesnt sound fun. Maybe you could try Fiesta/super Fiesta where you spawn with random weapons. It'll get you acquainted with the sandbox quickly. I believe its a mode in the Quickplay playlist.

Fiesta sounds like the most unfun gamemode imaginable. Having to adopt a completely new playstyle with every spawn would make learning incredibly difficult.

you would not need to learn the mode per se` but just learn how to use the weapons. Everyone knows fiesta is a silly mode and there is no point in taking it too seriously. The goal is to play it temporarily then move on to other things

Its to the point where the dedicated players are pretty good and the newbies have a lot to learn. But if you enjoy fps games in general the best thing is to learn where the sniper/br spawns are according to your playstyle. They are usually in a nest and show up for everyone on screen. There's even a countdown.

You'll get some wins in eventually, sometimes matches are tough. It takes me around 2 matches to warm up usually, where I just have to get into the flow, been playing since launch. If you play regularly you'll get better and have fun, I sure do.

Your nade is the most important thing in your arsenal. Headshots are king. What seperates a good halo player from the rest is someone who uses nades headshots power weapons and positions to get the fastest ttk and or most kills possibleall while working with their team. The br is easy on the surface to use, but its got a learning curve if you want to be hitting all your headshots. keep practicing, its pretty hard bc most players have lots of experience, but watch a couple tips and tricks videos its easyy
