Please allow us to just remove keybindings. C for grenade is weird to me, and being forced to replace it with another button even though G exists still is weird.
Big Team Battle is awesome. I'm a Planetside 2 player so big chaotic fights are my kind of jam. You just can't go back to little baby fights after playing Planetside.
-Coatings do not apply over multiple armour sets. You can micro transactions these alternate patterns/texture systems but let me pick the damn colours.
-Why do all these new helmets have these big chunky cheeks and jaws and these boring large flat sides of the head you over corrected from the Previous art style.
MkVII helmet is however an excellent design. It's reminiscent of Mk VI and MK V(B) helmets while being its own thing and does not suffer from design choices others do mixing curves and lines well.
-walking through players is absolutely ridiculous
-Vehicle balance is wild.
For example the Warthog you made it way too fast, in turn making it much harder to aim in the side or turret so you bumped up the turret rate of fire to compensate. You also seem to have made splatters harder to perform because of the vehicle speed and also made hijacks way to easy to perform. In a ghost I was boosting directly at a guy and he just hijacked me no issues.
-Equipment being automatically picked up feels bad. I would rather actively hold a button to pick it up so I have a mental note of whats equipped and also so I don't pick up something that a teammate might want for no reason.
-Motion Tracker its terrible. Moving at full speed without showing up on radar is bad. It used to reward sneaking slowly behind an enemy but now it only show sprinting players and because it is barely an increase in speed really throws of the risk reward dynamic of how it should work. It also does seem to give as advance of information as in Reach that subtly informed you if an enemy was above or below you which would be useful in a game with these
-Melee feels like it is lacking range or a lunge my muscle memory is way off from playing MCC and it feels terrible.
- Aim assist is off I don't know if its from the Bug on PC I have been hearing about or if its just lacking in general.
-Weapons like the Stalker Rifle seem completely out classed by the Pistol due to its higher rate of fire and solid damage while still being very accurate at extended ranges.
-The Bulldog feels too weak melee feels more effective so why bother wasting a weapon slot.
-Plasma Carbine is just all around terrible.
-Many weapons feel like they have too much recoil (Sentinel beam, VK) have to slow a rate of fire (Shock Rifle, Stalker Rifle) or not enough damage (Bulldog)
-Scope glare or whatever it is is absolutely blinding at times.
-Grenades feel useless terrible damage drop from AOE and don't seem to be thrown if get killed when you thrown them.
-Spawn kills happen frequently because even though the maps are larger you can traverse them much faster and quite a few have just a large open area in the center that can basically see from one side of the map to the other except a hallway behind a wall. Its just constant madness no ebb and flow to a battle anymore.
-The sound design makes it feel like an explosion 6 meters away is halfway across the map. I feel like Mr.Magoo sometimes walking by a flurry of explosive blasts that I couldn't even tell were right there.
-I am constantly hearing little pings and boops I have no idea what they're representing and its annoying like someones phone going off constantly with every possible alert notification.
-On top of weekly challenges I would like to see Seasonal and life time challenges that take a long time to complete but with a big pay off like Commendations from Halo Reach.
-Theater just has a tendency to not load half of the matches properly.
-Since the beginning of the Tenrai event the season tab and challenges are loading very slow which is frustrating to find out what challenges I need before starting a match.
It is not a bad game and you have done some cool things like the Bots are all specific characters that's a really enjoyable addition but it really feels lacking as a halo Game. I'm hoping to enjoy the campaign and custom games with friends but both or those are also swirling the toilet with the lack or co-op and forge. I am trying to have faith that you can make a good Halo Game but I have ended up disappointed in the franchise for the last 10 years. 3 strikes and your out, I'm not sticking around any longer if you can't make it work.
I don't want to be harsh I just want halo to be as good as it can and I know it can be better.
Better way you could've done this is at the start, let players select what game modes/playlists they would be focused on playing and then the weekly challenges are generated based on that, that way progression is catered to an individuals preferences and they're not forced to play a certain way which could be detrimental in a team based environment.
On top of that, have per match XP and an additional progression system other than the BP. Bungie had systems that worked which you can pick and choose from, you don't need to reinvent the wheel.
Also, when i disconnect multiple times I get temp ban like I left mid match and it's really annoying.
