Weekly Ultimate?

So this weekly ultimate challenge is:
"Kill Enemy Spartans with Scoped Headshots using an S7 Sniper or Skewer."
(side note I thought AI wasn't going do anything helpful, but that text was copied from a image kinda neet)

So I start another game, and first kill of that match I get a "Counter-Snipe"
here is a screen shoot from theater (it's delayed a little to show the medal)

This didn't count, am I doing something wrong?

Often these challenges are tracking specific medals.
"counter-snipe" isn't the same as the normal "snipe" medal.
Same way the back-smack challenges don't count "Achilles' Spine" or "Sneak King"

Interesting, I wasn't aware that they were looking for exact medals...
I got it in a different game, and it was a normal snipe medal.
I wonder if they'll think about updating that, it feels like almost getting punished for over preforming.

Interesting. But then it would make it more clearer if the challenge would say "get X medal" since i got a few headshots that didnt count and was wondering why but got it the next game right away with just another headshot.
