well yeah, but its fun playing it casually between other games, im playing elden ring and when i want my multiplayer fps, im playing this over counter strike or such
(this game has more modes and polished gameplay comparing it to all the F2P shooters in the market today, of course it has less maps than a game that its 10 years old, just let give it time)
Sure, the moment to moment gameplay is likely really good.
But really only a small part of the over all experience,
After the battlepass, you lose any reason to play because the game stops rewarding you with anything.
All it takes is a String of bad games to say, "I'm done with this", because without progression there is no reason to come back.
Because the only thing you'll come back to is Hollow meaningless victories and Frustrating defeats.
Pretty much this. I only log in during the specific event weeks basically. Last Tenrai week the days I could get on, it wouldn't even connect to games. So this upcoming one I'm going to finish the last Tenrai, probably try to blitz through the last ten levels of battle pass and then set the game down until season 2 or some new event with rewards comes around.
The armor customization has so many options show up, but all are locked. So it feels like basically I'm seeing the exact same armors every game instead of a diverse and different range of armor colors and looks. "Yay everybody unlocked Zeta Mark V, and now everybody uses it because it's different from the starter helm or ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mark 7."
This weeks weekly reward is bad and I got everything else done in Infinite. MCC got a new content update and I got a long way to go to max rank I'm playing that instead for progression.
while as a RPG fan i love customization, i just play this kind of multiplayer games to get my FPS needs...but yeah F2P games always had this kind of problems
maybe it was a bad idea to release this multiplayer as a f2p? idk, the majority of this kind of games has microtransactions already even when you have to buy it which is horrible
i hope season 2 brings more maps, in the meantime ill be playing this or MCC (which i heard a lot of good things so i bought it today)
but i wont gonna lie, ill still be playing elden ring as my main game anyway, multiplayer FPS are not something i wanna play all the time
Hope you enjoy MCC and hope you take a chance and jump into halo infinite season 2 when it releases and everyone returns from the other games they are playing (im playing Elden ring too, what an awesome game
^ perfect right here. Desync means every death feels unfair and frustrating. The amount of wallhacking cheaters you see in theater mode just cycling through the entire enemy team through walls on spawn gets tedious, further making the game frustrating. And I don't feel like uninstalling my Logitech drivers everytime I wan't to play because 343 refuses to support anything other than default windows stereo.
FACT: Half Life and TFC were often played on dial up connection in 1999 with input delays. Real players were able to compensate by knowing how to aim with that delay and when to throw grenades. It won many GOTY awards.
FACT: plenty of games are F2P therefore F2P is fine and you shouldn't criticize it. It's free. Stop being ungrateful.
FACT: cultists want this game to be Mario since they like to jump and not sprint.
FACT: Stop bitcoin mining on the same machine you are playing this game on and you will have no issues. Plenty of people are playing this game fine.
Stop trying to get people to drink your Kool Aid.

How's the Co-op in MCC now? Was that ♥♥♥♥ fixed or is it still cancer with massive lag?
I don't bother with Halo multiplayer outside Co-op anymore. I got that out of my system in during the early days of Halo 1-3.
Halo Infinite didn't launch with Co-op...
Wait poor perfomance? Im running it great at 60 on high with a 1660ti and a i7 3770...this Game really doesnt have an anticheat? Well at least none is better than the easy Anti cheat Crap i Guess lol
