I have a beast of a system and yet Infinite keeps crashing :(
I have a 3090/ I9-7980XE/ 32gb ram

I am not lacking in power here, I've had it on my ssd and hard drive to test, I've gotten rid of both high res textures, I have the most up to date drivers and still I keep getting frequent and random crashes.

No error reports or anything, sometimes it'll crash as soon as I hit enter on the start screen sometimes it'll crash just as I'm having fun in multiplayer, sometimes it'll crash when I drive around in the campaign but it always crashes.

Anyone have a similar issue?

Yep, I've verified the files multiple times. As far as I can tell both the campaign and multiplayer are in the same folder, when browsing to where it is on the disk it's 46.51gb. Not sure if it should be more since I also have the campaign.

uninstall hd pack

I tried disabling them and that didn't work, would uninstalling them really work?

I have had to cap min & max frames @ 120fps to stop crashing.
I have 5950x, 3080ti & 32gb ram I can run higher but it will crash often if I do.
Pretty sure there are ingame physics tied to 120fps (highest console frame rate) exceeding 120 breaks game.

I run it at min 120 max 144. No crashes whatsoever.

Interesting, I haven't tried limiting the frames yet, that just might do the trick for me then. I'll do that thanks!

I have exactly the same problem. And me too, I have a great computer, RTX 3080, i9 ect...
I am very disappointed

A friend and I have very similar rigs. My game works almost flawlessly. Only crashed twice in the whole time I've played. He has crashes every other game on some nights. God knows what the problem is.

Doesn't matter your hardware. This game is just terribly unstable.

I’ve been playing since mp launch, only crashed one or two times…
I think it really depends on something other than just hardware

And the support people aren't terribly useful, not unless you can exactly reproduce this crash .

And what about the high res textures, is anyone able to use it at all?

Unfortunately, once you start getting the crashing issue, there doesn’t seem to be a way to fix it. People telling you cap your frames and disable to HD pack are thinking of a different issue entirely

Strangely enough disabling both texture packs seems to have done the trick, didn't before but now I've set the textures to high instead of ultra and that's yielded positive results so far, just frustrating because I have a system that can more than handle this game at it's max. Hope they get off their butts and fix this eventually even though it's a tricky problem.

Best of luck to you. There’s no shortage of people who simply have no fix. The game up and decides to stop working. I had over 100 hours before mine did. Only thing I know is it’s not my PC’s fault so there’s nothing I can do.
