How to fix "No ping to database servers detected"

Make sure you open notepad on it's own, so press windows key, search notepad. Right click, run as administrator. File -> open, then open hosts.txt AND make sure you also edit the other hosts file by clicking "all programs" in the dropdown when opening in notepad. Remove all server information for halo.

The last line in notepad should say:

# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost
#

save both files, make sure that when you open there is no halo server information, and when you reopen halo infinite it should work.

restarted router
Launch w/ Disable/enabled UPnP
Forwarded ports 53,80,88,500,3074,3075,3544,4500
Contacted ISP to confirm open ports
Launched through hotspot, launch through VPN
Uninstalled and verified, launched w/o DLC, reinstalled, verify and launched w/ DLC
Switched Install locations
Updated Network drivers
Flush DNS cache
Switched to Google DNS server addresses
Switched all forward ports to Port triggers w/ inclusion of Port 10

Contact ISP again, reassures that port 3075 is open and I'm not the first person w/ this issue w/ halo infinite.
Switched to WiFi, back to ethernet

Try launching Halo campaign and going to multiplayer through game pass
Downloaded Campaign

Did all of the above, then came across this post. Your suggestion was the only thing that worked. Thank you, I'm still going to file a ticket with them and tell them all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I went through to find the only solution was something they didn't even list.
