That method didn't stop you matching international players, it just dragged all of those other players into worse servers to fit anyone geoblocking, and broke if it matched together different geoblocks.

right yeah i readed about that kinda sucks tbh wish 343 had added a server selection like mcc this is frustrating because i get more matches with 100+ ping then without and 20ping

Yeah I really wish you could select a region to search for games. It's nearly impossible to play effectively in ranked games since I rarely match with other Australian players and have ping ranging from 150-220 ms (once even 300 ms recently). Which leads to not being able to get kills when the game doesn't register your shots hitting enemies due to the ping.

we can't :(, if the game is gonna be popular some day we will have the server browser or at least region select, in its current state with its low population this will make it worse.

i mostly play with 70/180 ping i got used to it :/ kinda sucks but what else can we do

343 just needs to add server selection for a ping whe accept

idk what happened but i guess most eu ppl moved on and that is why i get only us servers

so you answer your issue perfectly and dont understand a single thing.
Your in AUSTRALIA. that is not in the US. the most Populated area with palyers of this game is US...then EU...and then far off all the rest.
So what happens now if you RESTRICT yourself to your region...well you search for games for 5min...10min or even longer. then you would come in here and cry that you cant find games.

The game is set up to search for matches closest to you with the best ping. If it cant find some it searches for higher ping. So when you get games with 200ms Ping... well hate to break it to you. Nobody plays this game in your area. and restricting yourself to your area would mean no games for you.

Why is this concept so hard to understand. It dosnt need a region select it searches your region first and if it cant find games it looks in different regions. otherwise you couldnt play at all.
