Insane FPS drops

I have a pretty beefy PC(3080 ti with 32 GB ram) and I am barely using any of the games vram. I can easily run any other triple A games over 150 fps and even with low settings on Infinite, I average about 45-60 fps in a multiplayer match. Is anyone else having these issues and if so, have you found a solution. Thanks

I average 50 fps, but sometimes it drops into the high 30s It gets real tough to play. My PC is same with ram, i9. I don't know why it drops suddenly, I assumed it was my internet connection. I'm currently playing on wifi. And maybe the server that we connect with? I really don't know about it. I'm hoping someone with this knowledge will see our plight.

Yea im honestly not sure what the problem is. I have a good internet connection, so I think it may be the game engine or EAC affecting our game

not in multiplayer no. I have a regular 3080 10gb, 32 gb ram, ryzen 5800x, and even with all ultra settings on 2560x1440 I only get as low as maybe 90 on on the map SCARR. Most ranked maps I stay above 200 and in quickplay there are maps that have awful performance like perilous that DEFINITELY drop my FPS to like 80-90

EAC has only made this game harder to play for me..cant remember how many times i got kicked from a game bcuz of it saying i 'cheated' when i never used cheats in any online game in my life

More than likely their engine, it was the reason they are using Unreal now. The engine they used for infinite is highly controversial for how many players left because of how poorly it ran and was used, but that is because of how sophisticated and mismanaged the project was. I stopped playing a while ago due to never ending issues on their part and being too arrogant to fix it.

You need to use dynamic resolution, I have set target frame rate to 120 fps, I average 120-150 fps, a lot of Forge maps are broken though and do lag for everyone (I can name a few like new midship remake from delta arena, lots of husky raid maps, old blackout remake) and it's the only time i drop below 100. Medium settings on rtx 2060 and i7 8700k.

you shouldn't be having issues running this game. With a 5600X paired with a 3070 i have the Frames locked @ 165fps. They never drop from there. MY brother has a gtx 1080 and runs it @ 90 fps.

What refresh rate is your monitor? If its 60hz you might have vysnc on for halo infinite either in game or in the nvidia control panel making it only run at 60fps max.
