How's the player count?

I'm thinking of trying Infinite out again, just worried about matchmaking. How are search times for games? Is there a nice variety of populated gamemodes? Is it easy to find full matches? All this forge stuff looks fun but whats the point of it if I can't find people to play it with yk.

Yes, wait is about 4 mins during off hours, about 2-3 mins for ranked game... People leave the ranked games a lot. It's fun big team battles only 1-2 mins wait times Friday and Saturday nights.

I find matches pretty quick. Also depends on what times you play at.

we have to wait for 5 min to find a rank match. firefight is a little faster but we cant find firefight match instantly right now.
tbh playing infinite will ruin your day. pls stop trying this broken game.
now we only have tiny tiny tiny free battle pass , super expensive armor bundle and really bad server.

the casual matches are pretty quick, you can select multiple playlists now so that speeds up the search, the ranked matches are slower but only because the MMR is very strict, it'll only match you with people wiithin a set MMR range and that range will never expand.

SO the wait times vary this game has extremely strict sbmm i mean CoD level strict so the better you play the game punishes you more by trying to find lobbies more and more out of your league resulting in longer wait times. so for example im in the UK rn at 1am and i havent played the game in about 6 months so the SBMM loosened up on me, i found a game in about 30 seconds and absolutely dominated with about 60 kills in btb. Thats now bumbed my wait time up to about 2-3 minutes. i played just as good again in that game and now ive been queing for about 10 minutes with no game in sight. So just play average and you'll find games. This is why i hate sbmm because it protects little timmy no thumbs and manipulates them into spending money on the store fronts and punishes players for getting good.

Minute or less for most play lists. The new event Multi-Team Arena is not so popular and takes 3 minutes on average. You can filter exact game types now, which of course will increase average wait times, but you won't have to play games you don't like.

That's just search times of course, have to add load times to that as well. But the game is hot, can always find matches.

Don't know when you last played but Custom Games but that mode fell off shortly after launch. Firefight brought it back and it was a blast with maps like Toy Story but that didn't last too long either. Playlists are where it's at right now.

Now in the EU I can't find ranked games anymore, or the wait is insane. And I've been playing almost every night for a couple of years. Finding games has gotten worse in a couple of weeks. The situation is probably better in social games, but I don't play them.

I was finding games quickly until the match composer update, now it takes forever, even with all game modes selected and looking for games at peak times (From the UK)

Ranked is a joke anyway but yeah its got players socials fill quick idk bout ranked because It simply shouldn't have it lmfao, It says theres lik 2k in game right now on steam which is low af for steam lol but theres cross play

I don't know what any of you are talking about. BTB and squad will find a match in under a minute. Ranked matches might take 90-120 seconds max. This is all day and late into the night. Even if wait times estimate 2-3 minutes, it never seems to take that long.

Well, now the situation has been better in the EU for a couple of days, after I wrote the above message. I don't know if something has been changed by 343. Yesterday, for example, I found games within a minute.
