Worth a buy for Campaign only

As a new player to Halo worth it?
I never play it before

I only try a bit of the MP

Dont waste your money on a terrible dev team, not worth it for anything. The fact AMD GPUs suck on this game and the xbox is an AMD gpu just goes to show they are incompetent of creating a game. They need new jobs.

It's really good in general, especially gameplay, but while parts of the story anyone can enjoy, others are very directly continuing stuff from Halo 5, which may leave you lost.
Since Halo 5 isn't on PC, I guess most PC players played it like this anyway, it's ok.
But when it comes to character moments, you may end up not caring enough, since you don't know them.

You can try the series from the beginning, they all hold up very well.
The complete Halo: The Master Chief Collection is very cheap when it's on sale, even if you're not going to play all of the games in it.

campaign was super easy on legendary. hardly worth the time. grappleshot is fun.

play MCC first and maybe read a synopsis of H5 before playing Infinite

I'm playing through the campaign co-op with a friend and for $30 on sale it's enough content to be worth it. Story isn't amazing and breaks a lot of Halo lore and is hard to follow, but the open world gameplay is a lot of fun and is a great evolution of the Halo franchise.

Overall though the MCC is a much better buy and place to start, way more content and much better written even if they're missing out on the open world gameplay.

Multiplayer was fun at first, but the extreme monetization made progress feel meaningless. The campaign lacked the tight level design of previous entries in the series. Overall, the game just didn’t have anything to keep me playing, despite being a long time fan of the series. 500 mln dolar game with 5k online people.

just play MCC and dont bother with infinite.
Even when its working right its still a 5/10 at best

and then buy MCC for multiplayer
