With that being said, i use a keyboard and mouse. I find it to be superior on all fronts. My post game stats speak for themselves if things are otherwise normal on my PC and everything is running as it should, then you will see me at the top of the lobby almost every single time in the Accuracy and Shots Landed categories. and i often assume the "Entry Fragger" or most aggressive role on the team.

(I should also add that aside from skill, my system very well tuned for my FPS gaming needs. I am currently in the process of creating a Halo Infinite PC and Troubleshooting Compendium
Guide For Keyboard+Mouse and Controller users alike)

If this question was asked prior to season 4, would have said controller all the way no questions asked.... Then again thats one of the reasons i stopped playing between seasons 2-5.

If your Diamond+ your welcome to msg me and we could team up for some Arena, possibly even 2's.

I've loved playing First Person Shooters on PC since UT99, Quake, COD and the first Halo CE port. All my muscle memory is invested into MNK.

But attempting to optimise MNK on this game to get anywhere near a comparative level with controller has been nothing but frustration. I would have been gone long ago, but I think at it's base, this game has solid game play and looks beautiful to play.

I refuse to just plug in a controller, even knowing that my aim, hit registration and overall success will improve immediately.

My computer is decent and I'm really looking forward to your PC MNK guide Khasha, because I've tried the limited knowledge that's available out there to improve my setup and it's still not where I'd like it.

Have never used a controller, with any game...

Doesn't really matter because the devs forced M+KB players to use autoaim with no way to turn it off because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thought controller auto aim was too OP. Enjoy your aim being suddenly slowed down because you decided to aim too close to an enemy!

save you some pain and just do the controller. m&k is like playing with a handicap

Both inputs have serious issues but at the end of the day you need to be using what's more comfortable for you. Controller will offer you the edge in cqb if you manage to get past limited sensitivity settings and an aim assist that does not assist you with aiming until you land your crosshair on your target only to then force you to make minimal use of the right stick for fear of losing the ridiculous tracking. Mnk has more versatility but it's marred by lack of basic features. You can't get 1 to 1 zoom to hipfire aim because of poorly implemented sens options. You do not have a way to alter the crosshair size that is independent of the fov option and you can not currently turn off the aim assist that the 343 geniuses have bestowed upon us. Ohh and there's that small thing called raw input, that's also missing as well. Somehow 343 managed to frustrate both pad and mnk players with Infinite, more so the latter than the former but still a unique achievement. Bottom line, try both roller and mnk and stick with the one you're better with, there's no excuse for not doing so since mnk is available on console as well.

Play in console there be aim assist.

MnK is better for the overall movement and such, precise aiming, etc but this game isnt about that most of the time so controller is better for the aim assist(and I think it has way less input issues(wich should've be solved by now anyway)

Are you still into halo? I definitely need a doubles teamate. I’ve gotten triple neg teamates A LOT
Been a day 1 Halo franchise player. While I have played every other Halo FPS title with a controller, I gotta say Infinite feels damn good on MnK. While I still know a lot of people that use a controller with success, I believe both are incredibly feasible, each with their own pros and cons.
