If you want to just hop on and get a decently balanced round yeah it's dead. You can always go the discord route and get into a para-social borderline cult-like experience and possibly have a good time until that ultimately runs afoul. But yeah basically dead.

Remember recently Microsoft had a games sale and every Microsoft game in existence was on sale except halo infinite, yeah that was funny. It was because the game is still broke, Microsoft knows it, and they would probably end up having to refund 99.9% of the halo infinite sales anyway.

How can anyone who played infinite at launch be looking forward to anything 343 releases ever again?
