WTF is the point of stealth thrusters in the campaign?

They'll get confused for a sec. On LASO, you can just thrust all over the place and skipped an entire mission without them noticed.

I've noticed in Campaign/Firefight that they often get confused for a second, either not attacking or focusing on someone else like a friendly player/NPC.

I only really ever use that second to close the distance with the gravity hammer or energy sword before all of them start attacking me again lol
