if you quit your games early, this is for you
im talking about the rank games...ok if you enjoy playing halo despite all the bad opinions you may have on it right ? and its a game you come back to and yet you STILL quit games early because you feel the team isnt that good,or they arent using their mic ,,, ping is at 20034 etc whatevr the reason why do you think thats enough for you to be an AH and leave? i hope you know that its only making the halo community worse by encouraging this behavior and in the long run hurting any future games you will be playing on since other players might think this is ok to do ...so you're telling me you arent good at the game then cuz if theres anything a NON quitting player knows is that you can actually clutch the cheese outta games if you actually stay ...so youve never had close intense games like that? really?

why must you give up so early ...usually people get mad at players for not having mics or doing bad at the game but it actually depends on how you say it ...saying "ur trash kid just go to sleep" compared to "yo (random gamertag here) i understand you're having a bad game you think you can do me a favor and hide a little bit then so they dont get kills on you ill try and cover you to but lets not give em kills yea?" youd be surprised how many players actually listen and maybe even play better at times thats because some players actually play worse when their own teammates are talking down on them ...idk just wanted to understand why halo players are always leaving games too early ..if you do that please explain id love to understand why it is you do that.

Leaving team oriented games earlier just because you aren't getting satisfied is damaging to the appeal of the game regardless as to wither or not it's Social or Ranked. It teaches that it's ok to only care about yourself and you're enjoyment of the match and completely ignore everyone else's enjoyment in general.

Think what they need to do, instead of even bans in general for leaving, is start making it that leaving regularly will start purposely putting you in games with other people who leave frequently. If you think people have the right to leave whenever they please, then you should have no issues with this change. This change also doesn't go away with time, it only goes away if you start sticking to matches from start to finish more then leaving early and it's not instantly your in, so those actual rare emergencies where you must leave won't just toss you into this pile.

This way, everyone gets precisely what they want.

If you leave early you should be penalized with a time out period, and with each early leave after the time-out period should lengthen to the point that most players would think twice about it from then on. A lot of MMOs do that in their PvP 5v5 etc. which pretty much weeds out the bad apples fairly fast.

because if the other players can still manage to stay in the game why do you think only you can leave ? staying throughout the whole match knowing that the ping is awful says alot ..players would notice it thus encouraging the community that quitting is whack

and also ive won games with horrible ping sometimes i feel like players love to blame the ping for their bad game....idk i just think quitting games early should have a punishment ..like what gears 5 does ..

I have more of an issue on people who leave games frequently.

Everyone's going to have to leave at least at some point in time from matches occasionally. But they generally don't make it a habbit to drop out of matches because they feel that they're the only one that matters.
