I have a 1660ti, Ryzen 7 2700X, and 32GB RAM, so not incredible but I can run most games fine on medium-ish
Just play firefight, it's... bout the same. Just no weirdly lit cutscene's nor Drake-Level-In-The-Feels-Chief
I bet you that if they released the game as MP with no SP, they would have had a low player base plus, no source of income since MP is FTP. They had to throw something in there to make some money to fund the MP part of the game so they came up with a rushed SP Campaign. Using that money as another source of income to help fund MP.
This was kind of the impression I got from the few hours I played it. Neat concept and mechanics but just half-baked and underwhelming despite the amount of hype before it launched. Everything I've heard about the story seems dull as well.
Play a different game? Not every game or every story is meant to be replayed 5, 10, or 50 times. Did you play through it once, and enjoy it? Yes? Then it filled its intended reason for creation. Did you play through it more than once and enjoy it? Maybe? Good. Are you bored with multiple play throughs? That's not bad design. Its called playing it too many times. Go play something else. That's OK. Really. It is.
