What you get for free in the game is the your player vs player and firefight modes, and custom games. You also have the free 30 tier battle pass that gives some reach themed armour to get some customization.
So if you're interested in playing, all you'd lose is your time.
Again, my original comment stands. It is a free game. All you'd lose is some time. If you're interested give it a shot.
My statement does still stand though, as different people will say different things. Some people will claim the game is trash no matter what, and there are those who will fan-boy about it no matter what.
I'm average at the game, so the sbmm hasn't hit me that badly, and the connection has been no worse than MCC or Insurgency Sandstorm for me. That's my anecdotal experience though.
The only way to see if it is worth your time is by trying it out again. You do you though.
PROS:
+HALO MULTIPLAYER
+MAPS
+GAMEMODES
+COOL ARMOR COLLECTION SIMULATOR
+MOST OF THE PEOPLE ARE JUST AS QUIET AS MASTERCHIEF I HAVEN'T HEARD A ANNOYING SQUEAKER ON THE MIC YET
+The Halo Universe and Franchise is great
+cool weapons
CONS:
-item shop is not as updated as I would like it to be
-Feminine armor is non-existent/no girly things. (they really just decided to exclude females nearly entirely besides for a few pink glowing things and spartan voice lines + 1 personal ai that you carry around.)
-you can easily break your bank if you're not careful enough from buying all the cool armors and skins.
-A lot of people hate me for playing this game and supporting it. (people hate this game and I don't know why.)
-Guns are nerfed heavily / it takes forever to end someone in the game
-Random deep holes in the map that are atrocious to kdr
-Team Killers, that purposely hit you with vehicles or drive you off of cliffs.
-Toxic Ranked Rando's that curse a lot when they lose although it is kind of funny to hear them get angry
-Getting killed shortly after respawning on a small map
-Getting one slapped from behind even though your opponent was facing you and somehow they magically teleported behind you during a brawl out.
-Also the same song plays before any match begins and it gets annoying after hearing it 50 times.
-Graphics are very high end and most people cannot run them on max settings even on a decent graphics card.
-Graphics look like raw sewage when the game decides they should.
-Characters can look blocky randomly during customization, cutscenes, or gameplay.
The decision is yours if you love Halo then you will love this game it's as simple as that.
There's really not any other franchise doing what Halo is doing, Halo Multiplayer is exclusive to Halo, no other game does it the way Halo does.
Best of all its free, the only thing it will take up is hard-drive space, time to install and you're ready to go.
The Halo Infinite Experience beats paying 60$ for a brand new game that doesn't function.
It's easier to convince people to play a game like Fortnite or CSGO 2. The best thing most of the Halo Infinite Fans can do is just hope the game can live up to the brand and the expectations that it has created. Over the entirety of the internet I've found more haters than fans of the game.
Your pros, cons, and points are, well, on point. I will add that the campaign is very fun, especially if you bring along a friend, and the ability to pay for a battlepass and earn back the credits to get the other BP's is nice. The operations through this a bit out of loop as they are essentially $5, 20-tier mini-passes that don't give any credits back.
