STUCK AT TITLE SCREEN "Press Enter to Play"

I'm currently stuck at title screen. After hitting enter to play i get the little loading wheel and it just sits there. After about 2-3 minutes it prompts me to hit "enter" again and its just the same cycle over and over. I just did a clean reinstall with no luck. Drivers up to date, as well as game, and PC. Anyone experience this before? I've logged almost 700hrs on this game and this is the first major issue I've had. Someone help please..

*FIXED*
I tried "Fix #2" and it worked.

POSSIBLE WORKAROUND 1: DELETE BROWSER COOKIES AND CACHE IN STEAM SETTINGS

1. Open the Steam app
2. Select Steam and select Settings
3. Go to Web Browser
4. Select Delete Web browser cache
5. Select Ok to delete all files in the built-in web browser cache
6. Select Delete all browser cookies
7. Select Ok to clear all Steam browser cookie data
8. Launch Halo Infinite and check to see if the sign-in process has started from the beginning.

POSSIBLE WORKAROUND 2: REMOVE HALO INFINITE SIGN IN CREDENTIALS

1. In the Windows Search bar, enter "Credential Manager", and select Credential Manager to open it. Select Windows Credentials.
2. Scroll down to the section labeled Generic Credentials.
3. For every item that has "Xbl|2043073184" in the title:
Click on the item to expand it and Select Remove.
4. Confirm you wish to delete that item
5. Launch Halo Infinite and check to see if the sign-in process has started from the beginning.
*Note: This may sign you out of most or all Xbox network sign-ins on your PC.

This actually seems more like a Microsoft/XBox problem than strictly an issue with 343i/Halo Studios: Sea of Thieves has nothing to do with 343i/Halo Studios and yet has had the same exact problem.

For anyone that has this issue in linux via proton go to steamapps/compatdata/1240440/pfx/ and move or delete the .reg files (they store registry entry's and the cred data)
