I don't get any exp from playing custom games
Why's that? Am I missing something

No game ever lets you do custom games and gain experience simply because you could easily game the system.

Except this game does?

OP, when Season 5 first dropped you could get xp from playing in the custom games browser, so if that isn't the case currently something broke or you hit the weekly cap.

This game does since S5. I gain XP from playing custom games albeit only a small amount each match. OP probably have something broken or AFAIK matches are only eligible for XP if there are 2+ human players or join the match from the beginning to the end. I'm not sure.
